Christoph Bach (47), a German national, has been active in the energy industry since joining ABB Asea Brown Boveri’s Project & Trade Financing unit in 1997.

 

During his career he had leading functions in the development and financing of a multitude of energy projects (IPP, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical), covering 18 countries on 4 continents. Major transactions include the 1320 MW PP Jorf Lasfar, Morocco, 800 MW PP Maritza East3, Bulgaria, the 450 MTA PDH/PP Saudi Polyolefin Company, Saudi Arabia., or the privatization of Petkim, Turkey.

 

In the last years, Christoph was also involved in a number of renewable energy transactions, such as wind and solar parks in Europe, as well as a number of HFO fired diesel projects in Africa.

 

Christoph holds a degree in Forest Engineering and an MBA from IESE Business School of Barcelona. He joined ICARE Energy in 2011.
